Specific Features of Formation of Institutional Structure of General Mandatory Accumulating Pension Insurance in Ukraine

Abstract:
The article discusses issues of functioning of main financial institutions, which would form the institutional structure of the second level, regulation of their activity in accordance with the new Ukrainian pension legislation, specific features of their financial relations with participants of accumulating pension programmes. It gives a characteristic of the accumulating pension fund, which, in accordance with the current pension legislation, is the main financial institute of the second level. It analyses its relations with direct participants of the second level and specific features of managing their pension assets. It identifies the role of the executive directorate of the accumulating pension fund in managing the second level of the Ukrainian pension system. It characterises other financial institutes, which play an important role in the institutional structure of the second level - assets management companies and savers. An institutional structure of the mandatory state accumulating pension system is offered as a result of the study.
