Abstract: The article provides comparison of regional, national and world parameters of development of the tourist sphere: it provides a characteristic of the state of resource provision of companies of the tourist sphere of Ukraine, identifies problems of their development within each resource of the presented system - land, capital, labour, entrepreneurial talent and information. It offers to consider staffing as a strategic competitive advantage and develops a number of measures on improvement of functioning of the system of resource provision of tourist companies.
