Relationship of Society and Environment under Regional Socio-economic Conditions

Abstract: The article considers interrelations of society and environment with the use of the main methods of statistics - table, graphical of parallel rows and correlation ones on the basis of the system of integral indicators, determined at the level of the method of specific participation. It reveals a low level of nature and man-caused security, unsatisfactory ecological and sanitary-epidemic situation, connected with an imperfect strategy of conducting economic activity and major disproportions in the use of territories, deformed structure of economy of many regions, and predominance of ecologically dangerous productions. The article establishes dependence between the state of health of the population and the state of air and water pollution.
