Abstract: The article studies main fiscal indicators that allow carrying out analytical characterisation of the state of the fiscal sphere of Ukraine. Tendencies of indicators changes point out availability of positive and negative shifts in economic processes, existence of destructive possible and potential threats that have significant influence upon ensuring the proper level of fiscal security of the state and realisation of priority national economic interests. The conducted comparison of values of the studied fiscal indicators with their threshold values allows focusing on the source of existing and possible fiscal problems. It is noticed that liquidation of existing imbalances of fiscal environment would allow maximisation of the level of fiscal security of Ukraine and facilitate its financial stability and socio-economic development.
