Aspects of Development of the System of Social Services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine

Abstract: The article considers the system of social protection in the context of providing social services by the Pension Fund of Ukraine for improvement of quality of services to the population. It identifies measures on optimisation of social protection of the population in view of the new social policy, in particular, search for new forms of social work and new types of social services. It analyses the state of provision of social services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, developed in the Concept of reformation of the system of social services, namely: introduction of standards of social services directed at improvement of the quality of life of recipients of services; introduction of the system of control of quality of social services and correspondence of the services with the set state standards, introduction of market mechanisms, which would stimulate suppliers of services to constantly improve quality of services, into the sphere of social services; improvement of management of state expenditures on social services with the aim of their flexible and rational use.
