Services as an Indicator of Growth of Macro-economic Indicators of Countries

Abstract: The article considers factors and tendencies of development of the sphere of services, its role in the GDP structure, world trade and employment of able-bodied population of the countries of the world. It conducts vertical and horizontal analysis of the world trade of services by countries and regions and considers the share and structure of trade of services of the leading countries of the world and Ukraine in particular. It analyses dynamics of the structure of the priority types of services and the socio-economic role of tourism both in the international and individual countries development levels. It specifies main socio-economic directions of further development of the sphere of services in the global scale and gives recommendations on improvement of tourist services in Ukraine.
