Abstract: The article develops a conceptual scheme of activation of investment activity of the region which is based on synthesis of hypotheses, assumptions and principles concerning formation of the mechanism of activation of investment activity. The end result of the use of the conceptual scheme is formation of scenarios of activation of investment activity of the region.
