Abstract: The methodology features of institutional analysis of the economic phenomena and processes are generalized. The comparative analysis of the theoretical approaches to determination of institutes` economic nature is conducted. Reasons of origin of concrete institutional problems, related to the origin and accumulation of contradictions between interests of different economic agents are considered.
