Abstract: The article is devoted to the influence of the customs policy of the state on the economic growth. The nature of economic growth is determined; and the main regularities of providing this process are discovered. The concept and functions of the state customs policy are analyzed; and the place of the customs policy in the mechanism of economic development of the state is examined.
