International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies, 2025, vol. 12, issue 3, 272-285

Abstract: This study explores the connection between industrial IoTs and organisational competitive performance (OCP) along with financial risk (FNR) as moderator from the domain of China. To this end, the first aim is to investigate the relationships of certain evolving industrial IoTs (e.g., smart sensors, RFID, connected machines, industrial robotics, predictive maintenance systems, energy management systems, remote monitoring, and asset tracing) on OCP. Second, this study attempts to uncover the moderating nexus of FNR between industrial IoTs and OCP. This study provides insights into industrial IoTs, organisational competitive performance, and financial risk showing a positive between IoTs and organisational competitive performance. Likewise, a positive moderation of FNR was observed. Besides, this study highlights some limitations, and therefore authors can incorporate these limitations to validate the findings from the rest of the world in the future.
