Abstract:
Social media and digital workplace are both vital for optimising organisational performance which eventually supports enhancing communication, collaboration, and engagement. Nevertheless, artificial intelligence (AI) plays an essential role in the digital workplace and social media by providing data-driven insights and enhancing the decision-making process. This study explores the connections between social media (SM) and organisational performance (OP) within Chinese companies. Second, the study investigates the connection between the digital workplace environment (DWE) and OP with the moderation of AI drawing on UTAUT model. The findings confirmed a positive association between Chinese social media. Likewise, the study confirmed a direct positive nexus between the digital workplace environment toward OP with the moderation of AI. This study enriches the scholar's knowledge by providing empirical insights into SM, DWE, OP, and AI showing certain drawbacks that could be part of future research.
