Abstract:
Most of the papers related to the automotive sector have concentrated on the description of the mechanical nature of vehicles yet very rarely on the study of the electronic nature of new vehicles. In order to show the profound transformations that have occurred over the past four decades, it is necessary to integrate into the explanation, the way in which electronic components and systems have transformed the nature of automotive vehicles. The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse the nature of evolutionary processes implied in the vehicle's transition from complex system into complex adaptive system.
