Role of digital transformation in human resource practices - a bibliometric analysis

Abstract: Digital transformation is increasingly gaining traction in today's modern era which is fuelled by the synergies between the businesses world and technological advancement leading to competitive advantages, which has been accelerated after the COVID-19 pandemic. Organisations have a very important role in human life, which is carried out by our human resource department. It has been assessed that digital transformation has a disruptive impact on human resource practices. In particular, an increasing number of organisations is revising their management control systems to cope up with the external pressures made by competitors and regulators and make their organisation human resource friendly. With the help of bibliometric analysis build on extracted database of Scopus using VOS viewer, this paper aims to make an assessment on overall effect of digital transformation on best human resource practices (a human centric approach).
