International Journal of Business and Globalisation, 2023, vol. 34, issue 3, 337-350

Abstract: The aim of the paper is to examine the relationship and the effect of work life balance (WLB) on the married women employees' personal life, primary responsibilities, work life-job satisfaction and retention working in the selected public sector banks. Descriptive analysis, correlation, and regression analysis techniques are used to analyse the collected data in this research study. Purposive and convenience sampling technique has been used for data collection. It is found that there is a positive relationship and effect of WLB on married women employees' personal, primary responsibilities and work life, i.e., job satisfaction and retention. The study shows that married women employees working in the public and private sector banks have a medium level of WLB. It is expected that a person cannot fully live the life he/she desires unless they manage a perfect work life balance.
