Abstract: The article considers the economic background of historical and geographical description of the world and historical facts of the Great Silk Road. The main problems of the formation and development of the Great Silk Road at the present stage are described, and the directions of the impact of the Great Silk Road on the economy of the participating countries are considered. The article proposes main ways to eliminate the problems of the development of modern directions of the Great Silk Road.
