Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to develop and validate a measurement scale for recruitment of management faculty. Semi-structured interviews of academicians were conducted to identify parameters to be used further in designing the questionnaire to be administered to faculty of business school. Exploratory factor analysis technique has been adopted in order to develop the factors and generate the scale, and later, confirmatory factor analysis to assess its reliability and validity. A 13-point scale, which will be utilised in assessing the factors influencing faculty recruitment in business schools and their inter dependence with each other is developed and validated.
