Abstract:
Contradiction in the process of product design during translating customer's kansei (feeling and demands) makes this process more complicated. The aim of this study is to resolve this contradiction using theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ). For this purpose, a comparison has been made among TRIZ and kansei engineering parameters in order to take advantage from Altoshler's traditional contradiction matrix, and respectively, a new contradictions matrix has been proposed for product design.
