Abstract:
Charities that provide help and care to people with disabilities are available worldwide; however, in addition to the challenging nature of their work, they are also faced with the difficulties of being a category of charities that is constantly overlooked. They are constantly suffering from the lack of social and financial support especially in countries that suffer from the lack of integration of disabled people within the society, such as Jordan. Therefore, developing a content management website for Our Lady of Peace Center was chosen as an opportunity to increase awareness and engagement of disabled people. The most significant contribution that this website provides is a dynamic page that informs parents and caregivers of disabled children of the appropriate toys and activities for different disabilities at different levels in both Arabic and English language, which, to the best knowledge of the researchers, does not exist in the Middle East.
