Abstract:
Cloud computing in recent years has become the de facto technology in delivering seamless IT services across industries. With the aid of cloud technology, ERP systems are transitioning to take advantage of the myriad of benefits facilitated by cloud. The COVID pandemic has had a significant impact on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the last two years, and to remain competitive, SMEs need to adopt the latest technology. The current research work aims to develop an extended integrated unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) model and attempts to explore the factors responsible in adoption and use of cloud ERP among SMEs. Exploratory research and a quantitative survey have been conducted to determine the intention among SMEs towards adoption of cloud ERP. The significant findings from the study will aid SMEs to determine and analyse the factors influencing cloud ERP adoption.
