Innovations and technology implementation in Indian agricultural sector

Abstract:
In today's evolving world everything is changing rapidly with the new era of data revolution. Technology has changed the working and basic structure of almost every walk of life. Agriculture is also not untouched by the technological boom. In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, technology is playing a significant part in transforming agriculture sector. This paper is an attempt to understand the challenges faced by agriculture sector in India and to put light on the importance of application of technology to achieve sustainable growth. Further the extant review of literature is done to understand the embracement of internet of things (IoT) by farmers in agricultural sector. Finally, this paper aims at proposing a solution and a data network model for Indian scenario to improve the agricultural produce for the future.
