A trustworthy social media content based on multi-criteria decision making AHP and TOPSIS

Abstract:
Social media material grows by the second, creating big data areas. As data becomes more important, so does the decision-trustworthiness. To cope with decision making (DM) issues, we proposed multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques to improve the data's trustworthiness. Choosing reliable facts and information that meets readers' needs is difficult. This study aims to evaluate and choose social media content using MCDM, collecting data from social media (blogs) and evaluating it using follower, viewer and post criteria. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy TOPSIS will be used to assess data reliability. We found that strong follower, viewer, and post trustworthiness criteria increase user trust in social media material.
