Abstract:
Strategic alliances are essential in the technology sector with regard to competitive advantages. The paper explores how innovation and trust spur the formation and success of those alliances. The fast-paced progress needed in technology requires constant adaptation, so businesses seek alliances that add scope to their operations. Innovation encourages joint research and product development, while trust ensures commitment, uninhibited information sharing, and common goals. A mixed-methods approach was used in the method of analysis, where the tools of Python, IBM SPSS, and MS Excel were applied to analyse data quantitatively alongside qualitative industry expert insights. The findings indicate that alliances based on both trust and innovation yield better knowledge-sharing, market positioning, and immunity to competition. High trust correlates with output innovation, demonstrating that trust facilitates effective collaboration. This study shows that trust and creativity are crucial to alliance development and provides a framework for practitioners to build successful collaborations. Finally, technology-based industries achieve sustained growth and competitive positioning by putting these aspects at the centre of their collaborations.
