National management system in global era: methodological assessment of its possibility

Abstract: The 1980s saw the success of the Japanese industrial system called 'Japanese system'. Some praised it as a new model of industrial system, while others blamed it for disturbing the international competition. The 1990s saw its sudden collapse in the globalisation process and its transition to the US system. This paper examines the methodological validity of the blame and assesses the possibility to preserve and develop national characteristics in the globalisation. This paper uses the methodological legacies of traditional knowledge such as systematics (taxonomy), geography, history and linguistics as well as the idea of modern logical system as a systems research method to approach businesses.
