Abstract:
Performance measurement has quite long been the area of study worldwide. The related studies focused mainly on comparison of traditional performance measures and economic value added to stock return. Many such studies were conducted worldwide using correlation analysis or regression analysis. First time in this context a modelling for traditional performance measures and economic value added with stock returns is done in Indian context using structural equation modelling. The results of the study have useful implications for corporates worldwide.
