Abstract: Employee engagement has gained the interest of researchers and academics in the last few years. However, job engagement and organisation engagement as different organisational constructs have been studied by only a few researchers and not much is explored about the mediating effects that parallel between the two. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship among job satisfaction, organisation engagement, job engagement and turnover intention. Additionally, the mediating effect of organisation engagement and job engagement in the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention is also examined. This is the first study to investigate the mediating impact of organisation engagement and job engagement in the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention. This work would also add to the engagement literature and eventually help potential researchers in recognising the connection of organisation engagement and job engagement with other key organisational variables.
