Abstract:
The nexus between women's health and public policy has been one of the major concerns among the researchers and the policy makers in both central as well as states of India. The present study has made an attempt to examine the different public policies expenditure in Uttar Pradesh and according to that we have divided the study into three parts. In the first part, we have tried to collect all the policies and show the trends and patterns. In the second part we have tried to show effectiveness between the policies with the help of ANOVA. In the last part, we have prepared a model in which we have kept the public expenditure as the independent variable and maternal mortality rate (MMR) as the dependent variable, after that we have regressed the policies expenditure on MMR with the help of simple linear regression analysis.
