Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of dynamic capability (DC) (sensing, seizing and transforming) on performance (market, customer, financial and innovation) of small and medium manufacturers (SMM). I developed a conceptual framework linking DC and firm performance based on extensive review of literature. Data on the observed variable from 403 respondents were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) in AMOS. The study established a strong relationship between transforming capability and innovation, customer and financial performance. The study highlights the perspective of firm performance and DC for SMM. It also brought out the structural aspects of the associated aspects.
