Abstract:
In the last ten years, Romania has been in the process of a profound transformation of its social and economic life. The actual dynamic environment forced organisations to radically restructure their objectives and strategies. At the international level, the management of the largest industrial units is based on the contingency approach. This is based on the idea that between the components of an industrial system and between the system and its environment are interactions that must be taken into account. The decision-making process, including those related to the evolution strategy of the organisation, is the result of a combination between environmental forces and management practices.
