Abstract:
In this paper, a multipurpose healthcare information delivery system is implemented based on a multiagent system framework, which is designed as the front-end information interchanging services, with the use of advanced information technologies and the adoption of medical informatics standards. The major information technologies used are web services, software agents and objected-oriented methodologies whereas the main standards of medical informatics adopted are Health Level 7, Clinic Data Architecture and Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM). The result shows the approach used can enhance higher system interoperability, scalability, integration as well as the efficiency and compatibility of information interchange.
