Abstract:
Success is the key for every manufacturing unit. In the present world energy is the one factor which play a vital role to decide the nation's position in the global standard. The efficiency of the nuclear power stations determines the performance of the condenser. The failure of the condenser is because of the poor quality of the condenser tubes and other related factors in which the performance of the nuclear sector presides. Achieving the delivery of the right material on the right place and with the desired quality plays a critical role on the industry success. The material selections for the condenser tube studies are in the developing stage and always give better chances for the researcher. Therefore, selecting the best suitable material for the condenser tube is always welcomed by every energy industry. In this case study, several literatures were studied and through which a new combination of QFD and AHP method have been applied and with the various material selecting procedures included and studied various factor affecting the efficiency criteria. The aim of this study is to apply an AHP and QFD to select the most appropriate material for better condenser performance.
