International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies, 2020, vol. 13, issue 4, 356-364

Accordingly, the current operation factors and problems of trainee evaluation were diagnosed based on interviews and a survey. Consequently, results showed that the quality improvement of vocational competency development training was perceived as a goal of trainee evaluation. However, it is necessary to find an improved method based on criticism and perform more substantial trainee evaluations. As shown in the case of South Korea, countries can consider the following if they want to improve quality vocational training through strengthening evaluation, like trainee evaluation.
