Economic growth in Poland from 1990 to 2006

Abstract: Economic transformation in Poland began 18 years ago, so there are a few questions that one should attempt to answer, namely: Has Poland succeeded in maintaining a relatively constant tendency towards changes in main factors characterising economic growth and to what extent? Which kind of growth, extensive or intensive, is found in Poland? To answer these questions, the following issues are going to be presented in the paper: synthetic characteristic of path of economic growth in Poland in the period from 1900 to 2006, and characteristic of chosen factors determining economic growth.
