Abstract:
This study examines the influence of unemployment and education on women's intentions to start e-entrepreneurship. Female owners of e-businesses from India were surveyed regarding their perceptions of unemployment, education, and their intentions to start e-entrepreneurship. Findings suggest that unemployment and education positively influence women's intentions to start e-entrepreneurship in India. This study contributes to the literature on the factors that influence women's intentions to start e-entrepreneurship. The findings may be useful for investment advisors, Indian Government, and entrepreneurship consultants.
