Abstract: Entrepreneurial training and education plays a significant role in giving the major push to the economic growth of a particular country. An economy which has rich productive resources cannot grow without efficient energetic entrepreneurs. This paper examines the main challenges of trainees before or after starting their business ventures after completing their entrepreneurial training. The study is descriptive as it includes survey of 603 trainees who have taken entrepreneurial training from rural self-employment institutes (RSETIs). Data was collected using questionnaire. Respondents were selected purposively from nine districts of Punjab (India). The collected data was analysed using garret ranking method. The result of the analysis revealed that most important barrier in entrepreneurial success of the trainees is negative attitude of the family and society, followed by financial constraints.
