Abstract: The change in the mindset of millennials has led to the emergence of several new career patterns. This paper aims at investigating the difference in protean career orientation among the students of management of select business schools of Delhi based on their gender. Moreover, the study aims at understanding the moderation effect of personal attitude, self-efficacy and social norms on the relationship between protean career orientation and entrepreneurial orientation of the students. Data was collected from 250 students pursuing management education in select business schools in Delhi and NCR. The data was analysed using structural equation modelling. Results show that there is no significant difference in the protean career orientation and entrepreneurial orientation of students based on their gender. Personal attitude and social norms are found to be significantly moderating the relationship between protean career orientation and entrepreneurial orientation. Self-efficacy did not show the moderation effect on the hypothesised relationship.
