International Journal of Environmental Technology and Management, 2021, vol. 24, issue 1/2, 120-134

Abstract: In order to overcome the problem of low carbon emission, characteristics extraction method based on remote sensing technology was proposed. Remote sensing technology is used to obtain the remote sensing image of urban residential area. The noise of the remote sensing image is removed, and the radiation of the remote sensing image is corrected to complete the remote sensing image pre-processing. The range of carbon emissions in urban residential areas is obtained by gradient adaptive threshold method. According to the range measurement results, the carbon emission characteristic model is constructed by using the emission method, and the carbon emission characteristics of urban residential areas are extracted. The experimental results show that the proposed method can quickly and accurately extract the carbon emission characteristics of urban residential areas, and the shortest extraction time is only 0.57 min.
