A toolbox for multicriteria decision-making

Abstract:
In this paper, the authors present the characteristics of DEFINITE (decisions on a finite set of alternatives), which is a decision support package for discrete choice problems. The first part of this paper describes the use of the tool using a simple decision problem, while in the second part the program is applied on a series of environmental case studies in The Netherlands.
