Abstract:
The study objectives of this paper are to investigate the influence of human motion and three different ventilation modes on indoor environment, Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs) dose and Contribution Ratio of Pollution (CRP) source index. According to the simulation results, human motion acts as the disturbance, has a noticeable effect on indoor environment including velocity, temperature and concentration spatial distribution fluctuation over a short period of time. The highest dose is obtained by simulating the side ventilation mode, the displacement ventilation leads to the lowest dose on the same boundary condition.
