Energy intensity versus per capita GDP in seven developing countries, 1973-1995

International Journal of Global Energy Issues, 2003, vol. 20, issue 1, 95-114

Abstract: This study makes an empirical analysis of energy intensity versus per capita GDP in seven developing countries from 1973 to 1995. It is based on two data sets that cover different statistical scopes for total primary energy supply. The results reveal that the statistical scope of total primary energy supply has caused there to be a different trend for energy intensity in developing countries.
