International Journal of Global Energy Issues, 2006, vol. 25, issue 1/2, 94-108

Abstract: Global energy model GEM-10R has been used to analyse the possible conditions and scale of using space and terrestrial solar power plants in the long-term perspective (up to the end of the 21st century). Different external conditions, when these alternative energy technologies may be feasible, have been revealed and discussed.

Keywords: global energy model; space-based power systems; lunar power systems; solar power satellites; solar power plants; solar energy; energy technology. (search for similar items in EconPapers)
