International Journal of Indian Culture and Business Management, 2022, vol. 25, issue 2, 255-281

Abstract: The secondary education system in India is beset with numerous challenges. Corporate social responsibility can play a vital role in addressing these challenges by adopting a structured approach towards their resolution. This study recognises the efficacy of stakeholder theory in addressing organisational challenges and extends its application to the Indian education system by identifying the stakeholders of secondary education. This study adopts a mixed-method approach to stakeholder identification by undertaking traditional content analysis, topic modelling, discussions with experts, and principal component analysis. The study triangulates on six primary and four secondary stakeholders of secondary education system. The study concludes with a discussion on managerial implications, limitations, and future scope of research.
