Study of Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita technical and managerial intellects with enlightening lessons

Abstract: Ramayana and Bhagvad Gita are predominantly perennial sources of ancient Indian texts that evolved simultaneously with Indian society. Ramayan contains seven chapters that starts with Baalakand and ends upon Uttarkanda. Similarly, Bhagavad Gita's 18 chapters begin with Visada Yoga and end with Moksha Opadesa Yoga. These scriptures carry lessons based on philosophical, spiritual, managerial, technical, cultural, and moral values. This paper discussed various managerial skills and explored the different management lessons learned from Bhagwat Gita and Ramayana for enhancing managerial effectiveness. This paper explores various aspects of management practice like human values, trust, information technology, leadership, motivation, and moral values extracted from Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita. Further, it identifies the impact of these attributes on managerial knowledge-sharing behaviour. The study establishes the relationship among all four variables and proposes a knowledge sharing-based conceptual model.
