Evaluation of current level for Industry 4.0 adoption among milk plant using Industry 4.0 maturity framework

Abstract:
In the present research work, the current level for Industry 4.0 adoption among milk industry using an Industry 4.0 maturity framework has been evaluated. This will assist in the identification of readiness level of milk industry to embrace the Industry 4.0 implementation strategy. The overall maturity level of milk plants come out to be low, i.e., 1.19, which indicates that milk industry has to come further in the implementation of Industry 4.0. Moreover, distribution of level of maturity among our domains are smart factory, smart operation, smart product data driven services is almost same with data driven services be the least mature and smart operations being the most mature among other domains.
