International Journal of Indian Culture and Business Management, 2024, vol. 31, issue 3, 274-290

Abstract: The present study has an aim to empirically identify the differences of perception and level of satisfaction among the small tea growers (STGs) with an acreage of 10.12 ha or below of Golaghat district of Assam. The STGs in Assam has contributed to the production of green leaves, which is more than 50% of total green leaf output of the state. It has become pertinent for them to climb up to a strategic stage with a voice as the whole system is reaching maturity and they need to attain a vantage point to access the benefits from administration and increase financial inclusiveness. An analytical study was conducted with structured interviews among the STGs in the line of different dimensions. The results obtained show a presence of a distinct gap in between perception and satisfaction level of STGs, which affirms the scope of improvement.
