Abstract:
This is a paper which aims to increase our understanding of how an Indian public sector organisation approaches its vision by aligning its business processes and work culture towards creating a learning environment. The increased pressures of globalisation and competition require organisations to look beyond financial performance targets. It hopes to create future value by investing in its employees, customers, suppliers, processes, technology and innovation. This paper reports findings in National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., an Indian public sector organisation.
