Ceramic packaging design and brand development: a case study of Jingdezhen

Abstract: Taking the Jingdezhen ceramic product's packaging design as an example, on the basis of packaging cushion material, this paper introduces the ways to design an excellent packaging system by analysing packaging structure, packaging marketing strategy and brand development. With regard to an excellent packaging system, the mechanical property of cushion material shall be fully understood, and then the packaging cushion material can be selected reasonably in accordance with the bulk product feature and circulation environment, which can not only improve the innovation of packaging structure and the utility value of packaging, but reduce the product cost and contribute to product marketing and brand image construction.
