Abstract:
In order to deeply explore the relationship between higher vocational education and regional economy, this paper studies the contribution of higher vocational education to regional economic growth. Firstly, this paper analyses the current situation of higher vocational education and regional economy, and uses Cobb Douglas production letter to build an econometric model to calculate the contribution rate of higher vocational education to regional economic growth. Then it analyses the problems of the contribution of higher vocational education to regional economic growth, and puts forward three countermeasures: the balanced layout of higher vocational education, the formulation of professional standards suitable for regional economic development, and the establishment of vocational education parks. Experimental test shows that the contribution rate of higher vocational education to regional economic growth can reach more than 19%, and its contribution rate to regional economic growth is higher, and its contribution to regional economic growth is greater.
