Abstract:
In the present research, user value elements of a two wheeler (scooter) were excerpted from life value elements using a survey sampling method. A total of 32 subjects participated in the study. The subjects were divided in three groups, namely male, female and a group comprising both male and female scooter drivers. An online survey was carried out to extract user value elements from life value elements. The data collected was analysed using IBM SPSS statistical software. The results of the study showed that there were 25 user value elements for a scooter. These were comfort, competence, satisfaction, independence, cheer, convenience, intelligence, salvation, family security, cleanliness, money, freedom, logic, accomplishment, trust, self-control, social recognition, justice, courage, ambition, confidence, responsibility, individuality, appearance, and happiness. Also the frequency of occurrence of the three life value elements namely convenience, accomplishment and creativity was higher when compared with other life value elements.
