Simulation modelling and analysis for system design and control systems using Java: a comprehensive approach

Lin Zhou and Xiaoli Jia

International Journal of Industrial and Systems Engineering, 2026, vol. 53, issue 3, 310-330

Abstract: The project's goal is to create a fresh, cost-free Java tool that can assist in creating embedded control systems. These tools are based on a set of TrueTime tools for MATLAB. They were made to do this. Writing code in Java can provide a sense of control over real-time processes. You can learn how to create tools that operate in real-time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. They already know how to use our tools because they know how to write Java code. Plenty of people like to plan and write with EJS, and more and more schools are beginning to use it too. The library works well with EJS, which is another reason. Even people who are not very good at programming can use EJS to make Java models that are both easy and hard. Why did they build that new library? How did you do it? How could this piece be used? It is made for people who write EJS and Java code. At http://lab.dia.uned.es/jtt, you can see the JTT library and hear some live sounds.
