On adoption of green logistics: a literature review

Abstract: This paper aims to develop a systematic literature review of the work done in green logistics and methods of improving the transportation in greener way. This article also provides a framework to the paradoxes and barriers which are coming in the way for green logistic. This literature is classified by several factors such as journal, publication, the area of application and the countries where the research were conducted. Various methods to improve transportation are studied in detail and on the basis of their ease of application they are identified. All the related paradoxes and barriers are also discussed by giving importance to those who are most essential to look after. In this article future scope of green logistic and new possible solutions are also analysed. Different methods of improving transportation are also discussed on the basis of simplicity in implementation which is also interlinked with cost.
